The Camamu soaps and solid shampoos are handmade in small batches from scratch using a basic recipe of olive, coconut and palm oils (food grade), sodium hydroxide and distilled water. Various ‘gourmet’ oils (apricot kernel, avocado, castor, cocoa butter, jojoba, shea butter, sweet almond and wheat germ) are often added to intensify the soaps’ nourishing, moisturizing and even healing qualities. Using only pure essential oils and natural additives for color, texture and skin care purposes, the soaps are truly a sensory delight, visually distinctive, succulent to the nose and silken to the touch. Hand-cut and air-cured for at least a month, the soap is mild and long-lasting. Animal products and mineral ones are not used. All bars are 4 oz.
